Packwood House Museum
Packwood House Museum is among the oldest log-built structures of its kind in Pennsylvania, originally constructed as a two-story log cabin between 1796 and 1799. It initially served as a tavern and inn for river travelers along the Susquehanna. Guided tours of the Packwood House Museum begin in the Tour Center at 15 North Water Street, Lewisburg.

Lycoming County Historical Society
The Lycoming County Historical Society chronicles the history of our region from American Indian occupation through present-day industry and life. Exhibits include an American Indian gallery, a Fine and Decorative Arts gallery, 19th-century period rooms, and the Shempp Model Train exhibit, featuring over 300 toy trains.

T.I.M.E
The Improved Milton Experience is a community-based, non-profit organization that facilitates Milton’s Main Street Program. T.I.M.E’s purpose is to enact positive changes in the downtown business district.

Susquehanna Greenway Partnership
The Susquehanna Greenway Partnership is dedicated to developing and sustaining the Susquehanna Greenway to connect communities and enrich lives through enhanced recreation, healthy living, economic prosperity, and environmental stewardship.

National Canal Museum
The National Canal Museum is the only museum in the country dedicated to telling the story of America’s historic towpath canals. The museum features four galleries filled with hands-on exhibits that educate and entertain parents and children alike.

Pennsylvania Canal Society
Founded in 1966, the Pennsylvania Canal Society seeks to preserve the rich heritage of canaling in Pennsylvania; to promote the preservation and restoration of existing canal sites; to encourage canal research; and to make available to the public materials on canals, their operation, and history.

The James V. Brown Library
The James V. Brown Library provides free services to more than 1,000 customers a day, seven days a week. The library has 50,000+ card holders locally, and as a state-designated district center offers resource sharing and advisory services for over 40 public libraries in an 11-county area of North Central Pennsylvania.

Lycoming County Genealogical Society
Lycoming County Genealogical Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the encouragement of research, publication, collection and preservation of genealogical materials. Our members work hard toward the improvement of genealogical research and publication. LCGS is located within the Lycoming County Historical Society.

Northcentral Chapter 8, Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology
Northcentral Chapter 8 was organized in 1929 to: Promote the study of the prehistoric and historic archaeological resources of Pennsylvania and neighboring states; Encourage scientific research and discourage exploration which is unscientific or irresponsible in intent or practice; Promote the conservation of archaeological sites, artifacts, and information; Encourage the establishment and maintenance of sources of archaeological information such as museums, societies, and educational programs; Promote the dissemination of archaeological knowledge by means of publications and forums; Foster the exchange of information between the professional and the avocational archaeologists.

Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission
The PHMC is the official history agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Created in 1945, it is responsible for the collection, conservation, and interpretation of Pennsylvania’s historic heritage.

Pennsylvania Council on the Arts
The mission of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA) is to foster the excellence, diversity and vitality of the arts in Pennsylvania and to broaden the availability and appreciation of those arts throughout the state.

Penn State University
